How I'll Keep You Informed

You shouldn't have to take a day off work to find out what your county government is doing.

Kennebec County commissioners meet at noon in Augusta. If you work a shift, run a business, or have kids to get off the bus, you're not making that meeting. The public deserves more opportunity to be involved in county business.

Here's what I'll do.

Push for live video and remote public comment

The county started posting audio recordings in 2025 — that was real progress. But you still can't watch, and you still can't be heard unless you're in the room at noon on a Tuesday. Towns a fraction of the county's size have figured out how to do this. The county can too.

Post a plain-English recap after every meeting
